With all the new functionality that are offered in the vehicles, the amount of connected cars on the road has seen a huge increase lately. To ensure a connected customer experience, we have adapted our services and systems to handle bCall and eCall, theft and tracking and remote services.

bCall & eCall

Viking handles bCalls and eCalls for OEMs in case of a breakdown or emergency situation.

bCall

We can receive calls from several sources such as the bCall button or entertainment system in the vehicle, from an app or similar, or any other source you would prefer. Our Call Center is able to access the technical data of the vehicle in addition to the position, and of course provide the same type of service as if the customer would have called us directly. When we answer the call we always answer as representatives of your brand.

eCall

Automated emergency calls such as eCalls have the absolute highest priority at our Call Center, and we ensure rapid assistance and quickest possible handling to motorist involved in a serious collision or road accident. Handling of eCalls always starts with informing and requesting emergency services such as police and ambulance, and our nearest salvage vehicles is directed to assist immediately.

Remote services

In cooperation with police authorites we are offering theft and tracking services of stolen vehicles.

Stolen vehicle tracking helps the police recover a missing vehicle, and gives the possibility to immobilize the vehicle once located. Our Call Center works in close cooperation with the police authorities.
